  • Perform electrocardiograms, holter monitors, event monitors, pulmonary function testing, stress tests, home sleep apnea testing, nocturnal oximeters, six minute walk test, cardiac and pulmonary rehab evaluations and monitoring.
  • Provide respiratory care and procedures based on facility policy and procedure requirements. As well as orders that have been placed in the patient chart. These procedures may include, but are not limited to; small volume nebulizer medications, metered dose inhalers, dry powder inhalers, continuous nebulizer, administration of oxygen via all oxygen devices, CPT, mucus clearing adjuncts, incentive spirometer, assessing vitals and breath sounds, vest therapy, sputum induction and collection, insertions of nasal pharyngeal airway, oropharyngeal airway, jaw thrust techniques
  • Attending all newborn deliveries and performing NRP, attending all conscious sedation procedures, traumas, rapid responses, and code blues.
  • Initiating home CPAP and BIPAP units in adults as well as newborn bubble CPAP device in newborns. Completing the set up and monitoring of acute CPAP (V60), BIPAP(V60) and ventilator (Servio I)
  • Acquiring blood gas (ABG, VBG, capillary gas, and cord gas) running results on ABL 80 CO-OX, interpreting results, working closely with physician to adjust parameters on noninvasive and invasive devices.
