Little Angels Childcare and Learning Center is a daycare facility dedicated to taking care of children within the infant, toddler, preschool and K-2 age range. We also offer before & after-school care, homework help and provided activities for school-age students to help with their growth, development and overall drive for school.

As an Assistant Teacher at Little Angels, I:

• Assisted in promoting physical, mental, and social growth through structured classroom practices
• Distributed and assisted students with in- class assignments and gathered all materials and resources to prepare for lessons, games, and activities
• Facilitated transitions between activities like snack time, playtime, and naptime maintaining schedule efficiency
• Guided children in developing healthy eating, resting, and toileting habits

• Prepared thorough documentation including meal counts, behavioral reports, and progress tracking

The Education Fund is an environmental initiative that was created to engage students in an outdoor classroom setting and instructing students to maintain gardens located on school grounds

As a Food Forest Teacher, I:

• Facilitated discovery of healthy living practices by gardening as a community using the edible garden as a outdoor learning laboratory
• Designed curriculum to teach students about food origins, earth cycles, plant growth, and various fruits, vegetables and herbs
• Trained students on using garden supplies and maintaining gardens
• Facilitated guided garden exploration, nature play and creative activities using materials found in our garden landscape
• Tended to regular maintenance responsibilities in the areas of: fertilization, planting, watering/irrigation, pest control, weeding/mulching trimming hedges, pruning, collecting debris, and maintaining tools & garden equipment for each of our school’s locations
• Implemented awareness initiatives and community cohesion regarding the garden's progress, needs, and requirements with the school’s administration and staff

Relevant Youth is a student-led creative advertising agency at the University of Missouri that developed content for advertisement and marketing of client brands
