I started as Tire Technician and promoted to a Auto Technician. My duties were to remove tires and dismount them. Install new tires and balance them. I would perform a quality assurance test drive to make sure everything was correct. I started to get trained on auto repairs. I perform vehicle alignments, brake repair and part replacement. I perform engine diagnostic.I scan the vehicles ecm's and ecu's I retrieve codes. I read wiring diagrams and I make the proper recommendations and repairs. When doing brake repairs I can resurface rotor and or drums. I can replace clutches and resurface the engine's flywheel. I use various tires of hand tools. Including air guns, air ratchets, sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, hydraulic press, drill press, different types of cutters and grinders, sanders and saws. I also help the front desk with customer service. I get the vehicles information and the customers information and help the customer with their needs. I maintain a clean and safe work area and environment. Safety is a number 1 concern.

I started as a Lot Boy. I would take customers home and pick them up after the repairs were done. I would move vehicles around and help the Auto Prepper. After I got trained I promoted to vehicle Prepper. I would mask vehicles and sand them and get them ready for paint. I got trained to spray paint vehicle parts. i would disassemble vehicle hoods, doors, trunk lids and fenders. I would color match them and paint them. Prepared surfaces and surrounding areas for painting using sandpaper, tape and other materials. I used air sanders and grinders, and paint guns. I used air guns and air ratchets and different tools to get the job done. I was in charge of my work station. I would clean my work area and make sure if was a safe environment. Worked flexible schedule, including some holidays and weekends, depending on shifting needs of each project.
