  • Responding to calls for emergency assistance to include trac accidents, domestic disputes, suicides, burglary, robbery, sex ofenses, unruly or truant child, missing persons, suspicious persons, neighborhood disputes, catastrophic events, scenes of crimes/natural disasters, and possibly murder, gang ghts, enemy attacks, and makes apprehensions
  • Patrols the installation on foot or in vehicles; responds to alarms, irregularities, and unusual or suspicious circumstances; and investigates the incidents
  • Interacting with members of the public to determine their involvement in incidents to include interviewing, advising them of their rights, obtaining statements, and detaining or apprehending violators
  • Performing traffic duty to include operating radar detection devices, directing trac, escorting dignitaries, and conducting sobriety tests
  • Enforces weapons systems security standards, traffic rules and regulations, including those related to speed, reckless and drunk driving
  • Stops violators, notifies them of the traffic offense committed, and issues armed forces traffic tickets and Department of Defense violation notices as appropriate
  • Completing required paperwork, forms, and reports
  • Coordinating as required with civilian police, rescue and emergency units for assistance
  • Use computerized information systems to direct patrols, record daily blotter information, and retrieve information through the FBI's National Crime Information Center System
