Most of who I am today as a person, comes from my journey in baseball. Nothing has ever been handed to me, I am a hard working man with a strong desire to learn. Coming out of high school, I was not recruited by a college so I took on a job in construction and played baseball as a hobby on the weekends. I was then invited to try out by a team in Mexico, so I decided to take a chance on my dream of playing professional baseball. Next thing you know, I was playing in front of thousands of fans, doing what I love. After some good coaching and showing good work ethic, MLB scouts took notice of me and in 2010, the Washington Nationals bought my contract out of Mexico. After five years in the minors and two surgeries later, my hard work paid off and the average Joe became Pro, making my Big League Debut at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox. My dream of once playing in the Big Leagues was fulfilled.
