Knowledge of MGM QC workflows.

• Perform a comprehensive analysis of client digital content, beginning with the original transfer master and continuing through to all digital deliverable formats
• Working through the process in stages, giving clients the ability to correct errors as early as possible, which ultimately prevents costly delays
• High level of technical knowledge of audio, video, and closed captioning specifications and quality control for broadcast

• As a Senior Quality Control Operator I evaluate tape and file base elements to ensure they are within FFC and client specifications
• Evaluation of elements consist of video and audio anomalies including, ProRes Files, Avid DNxHD, H.264, 5.1 Dolby E, 5.1 Discreet, CC, subtitles and aspect ratios for distribution and duplication for home video, syndication, DVD processing and network feeds
• Setting up tape and file base elements using HDSR, HDCAM, Digital Beta, XDCam, Final Cut Pro, DiVinci Resolve and DVS Clipster
• Knowledgeable on all video and audio artifacts with complete written reports
• Proficient in both Mac and PC systems

• As an Encoding Operator I am responsible for the VOD encoder setup; adjustment, operation, multiplex and quality verification of ingested VOD assets
• I am also accountable for the subsequent move of encoded content to servers for distribution to their appropriate affiliates
• Knowledge of MAC and PC operating systems
• Final cut Pro experience including digitizing, basic editing and exporting
• Experience with digital Rapids and MacCaption
• Basic knowledge of video and audio compression such as Apple ProRes QuickTime
• AIFF and WAV, Familiarity with HD, NTSC and PAL formats, frame rates and aspect ratios

• As a Quality Control Technician at this post production facility, I evaluate master related film elements prior to worldwide distribution and duplication for home video, syndication, DVD processing and satellite feeds
• I also ensure that each element is within FCC specifications and complies with company standards
• I possess extensive knowledge in a variety of digital/analog and HD tape formats: DVD, BetaSP, 1"C, 3/4", D1, D2, D3, Digital BetaCam, DCT, D5, HDCam/SR (1080p24/1080i/720p), as well as operation of respective machines
• Knowledge of various computer programs is also needed to give results of findings on printed reports
