RAFAH SHAKIR

I Graduated from Biddeford High school and I'm hoping to major in Media and communications in a few months at the University of Southern Maine. I was part of my school BSU and MSU, they are groups dedicated to people of color and diversity. Which is what made me realize that I want to help people who have different backgrounds or just simply need help adjusting. Arabic is my first language, and English is my second. I had to learn English and endure the difficulties of miscommunication and the language barrier. I wish to help people and hopefully gain experience.
