My biggest accomplishment as a teenager is that I have started and helped operate a number of successful small businesses named Solelle | swim & boutique and Daffodil Designs. With a group of ambitious teenage girls and separately, my Father, this has become possible and manageable among my school life and other prioritized commitments. Daffodil Designs was made by my Dad and I and has grown to be the second business owned by a member of our family alongside my Dads establishment, Packerland Brokerage Services. We create many beautiful pieces ranging from jewelry to woodworking projects like birdhouses. We sell on our own website, Etsy, and at local markets. For Solelle, I had applied to work alongside a group of girls I didn't know individually and since then have grown my skills in social media management, product design, marketing, and team collaboration. We sell trendy swimwear, accessories, and lounge wear for our target audience of other teenage girls. I am currently seeking to make my own jewelry business which I will operate alongside or as another branch onto Daffodil Designs.
