Surgical Rotation

Ophthalmic Surgical Technician    Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA        November 2015 to January 2016

  • Worked alongside surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses and anesthesiologists during medical procedures
  • During surgery passed sterile surgical equipment such as scalpels and forceps to surgeons
  • Prepared operating rooms to ensure that all of the equipment needed for the procedure was properly disinfected and assembled
