To whom it may concern:
I have known Rachel Berdechevsky and her family since she was a middle school student. I have always
found her to be intelligent and helpful, but it was not until Rachel came to work at Parkglen Animal Clinic
that I realized her potential as an employee. Rachel learns very quickly and mastered all tasks assigned to
her within the first week. She filled prescriptions flawlessly, assisted in the exam room did pre and post
surgical preparation and made sure the clinic and the equipment was clean and orderly.
Rachel interacts compassionately with animals. She can hold them still without their feeling threatened.
She is that one employee who always notices if an animal is uncomfortable or in distress and is never
afraid to speak up and notify the doctor. Although Rachel’s energy level is high, when she handles
animals she conveys a sense of calm that makes them feel at ease. This rapport is difficult to find in an
employee.
Rachel’s interaction with clients is exceptional. She is friendly and personable, efficient and helpful.
Rachel is excellent on the phone and manages to convince clients to make appointments rather than
listening to them ramble endlessly. This too is difficult to find in an employee.
Another important trait that comes to mind is Rachel’s ability to perform under stress. No matter how
busy it gets, how many emergencies are occurring, how delicate the situation, Rachel can convey calm
and maintain her composure. She may feel panic inside, but nobody around her would notice.
Rachel would be an asset to any veterinary clinic. She will learn her job quicky, follow instructions and
make friends. Rachel is an animal person and a people person. Her intelligence and experience combine
to make her an excellent employee. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any more information. Our
office number is 281-495-1001. My personal number is 713-705-6547. Our email is
parkglenac@gmail.com.
