  • Coordinating with Main line Vessel Operators and NVOCC’s like CSAV, Mearsk, APL, Wan Hai etc regarding the containers to be shipped on our vessels to the various sectors assigned to me through mails and phone calls and also collect the various documents required like reefer manifest, Bill of Lading etc.
  • Visiting clients and have meetings with them and discuss the ways to improve our services/understand their requirements and thus maintain a good rapport and relationship with them.
  • Connected with the various departments/teams of the company for the smooth functioning of the supply chain.
  • Connected 24x7 as the port operates round the clock.

NTDE is a ISO & HACCP certified multinational distribution and logistics provider in the Gulf region and has been a pioneer in bringing more than 50 international brands and services, like Cadbury, Davidoff, Häagen Dazs, Pokka juices, Vitaene-C, Al-Rabie Juices, Power Horse drinks and Tobacco products to name a few. Also the company is having chain of retail outlets called Smokers Centre and Hagen Dazs Ice Creams across UAE. It is having one of the largest state of the art technologies Warehouse in UAE covering over 1,00,000 sq.ft. equipped with most modern warehousing facilities and fully computerized warehouse management system.

TOTAL STAFF REPORTING TO SELF: 38

· Ensure best hygiene and safety practices as per ISO & HACCP standards are followed throughout the warehouse including staff personal hygiene and safety.

· Proper and transparent communication with team members, seniors and management.

· Controlling and manages expenses.

  • Ensure required temperature in the warehouses are maintained and recorded accordingly.
  • Ensure all HSE requirements are followed in the respective areas.
  • Provide staff training at regular intervals on good warehouse practices including HACCP standards and Basic Food Hygiene.
  • Member of the ISO implementation team (Logistics Division) & HACCP core committee.
  • Provide new suggestions/innovative ideas to the management for continuous improvement of operations.
  • Arranging the space required to accommodate the fresh stocks.
  • Inventory control and auditing of stocks
  • Supervising in racking and arranging of the stocks according to the expiry date (FIFO) as it is one of the most important factor in the FMCG sector.
  • Daily checking of physical inventory and comparing with system stock.
  • Supervising in picking the goods as per invoice using the FIFO method.
  • Ensuring timely processing of delivery of the customer orders to enhance the sale and growth of the company.
  • Supervising the daily activities for the smooth warehouse operation based on deliveries, import and re-export containers, record maintenance, and documentation.
  • Ensuring proper loading of vehicles for maximum utility and to reduce complaints from customers – maximum utilization of trailers and vehicles.
  • Ensuring hygiene and pest control inside the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Coordinating with sales team regarding the promotions and co-packing and arranging forecasted quantities.
  • Act as a customer service agent for the company by attending to customer queries and complaints regarding deliveries and promoting teamwork.
  • Receiving the market returns and ensuring that the credit notes are prepared.
  • Separating the near expiry and damaged items for destruction according to the condition of stocks as per Government norms.
  • Motivating and training the subordinates in the different areas of operation and ensuring that timely performance appraisals are carried out.

Was later on given the additional responsibility of the Filling and Documentation dept. where we act as a liaison between the different divisions of the company and the customers/ clients.
