• Responsible for execution, commissioning, operations & maintenance of mechanical scope of works for the largest storm water pumping station in the region with pumping capacity of 19700 litres/sec.
• Monitored installation of materials and equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications
• Equipment include Submersible pumps, EOT cranes, Motorised valves, HVAC , MV Diesel Generators, Grab rakes, Mechanical Screens, Grit removal system, Oil & grease removal system & Roller gates.
• Monitored metrics during project execution to maintain compliance with planned costs.
• Delivered concise instructions to technical team to maintain quality control
• Successfully operated and maintained the station during seasonal floods before schedule.

Project: - Consultation of the Commissioning of Mega Reservoirs PRPS Package -E. April 2019-February 2020

Position: - Commissioning & Operation Consultant – Mechanical Scope of Works

• Worked as O&M engineer to facilitate main contractor in operating major mechanical systems & to fulfil Kahramaa requirements.
• Responsibilities include advising CGGC Engineers to commission & operate mechanical systems like Main MV Pumps, HVAC, Chilled Water System, Surge Suppression System, Air Compressors, MV Diesel Generators and chlorination.
• Provided technical direction of system development methodologies to improve technical performance
• Assisted main contractor to commission main mechanical equipment and handed over to operation dept. within the target dates.
• Operated & maintained MV pumps & station was connected to public potable water network.

• Initiated, planned & commissioned fast track Storm water shafts of 35mtr depth with combined pumping capacity of 7000ltr/sec in record time for public works authority valued as variation of QR 110Million with main project Value of QR950 Million.
• Developed and maintained relationships with suppliers to facilitate quality and timely delivery of materials
• Trained and mentored junior engineers, providing guidance and direction
• Coordinated with ashghal emergency committee for operation & maintenance during seasonal floods.
  

Project: - Construction of Mega Reservoirs PRPS Package -B. Nov 2017- Jan 2019

Position: - Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Installed, commissioned & operated 12 Main pumps & DN2.4m pipework with capacity of 2.8m³/sec each, in world’s largest concrete water reservoir and pumping station.
• Determined and scheduled priorities as required to progress engineering work
• Station was commissioned in record time to be inaugurated by the King of state.
• Trained junior engineers in pipe line design and material handling.
• Operated the station under various demand condition from public drinking water network and achieved maintenance goals with minimum down time.

Project: - Drainage & Rainfall Monitoring. May 2016 - September 2017

Position:- Project Coordinator

• Survey, Installation, Monitoring, Operation & maintenance of Flow & Depth Monitoring equipment in 70% of the sewer network in the country for both Storm & Foul water networks.
• Monitored and surveyed most of the older pumping stations in the country for operational & upgradation review (PS1,PS5, PS6, PS10, PS11, PS13N, PS15, PS32/32A, PS40, PS44, PS70,PS IA2, PS AD2,PS SW1, PS SW2A, PS SW3, PS SW5, PS SW9)
• Completed Impermeable Area Surveys (IAS), Installation & Commissioning of Rainfall monitoring gauges in Water Treatment Plants (Doha-north STW, Doha-south STW, Doha-west STW, Al khor STW, Industrial Area STW, Lusail STW, Shahaniya STW).
• Data from 71 flow & depth monitors & pump run time monitors from 35 older pumping station over a period of 2 years was reported. These data helped client to design & optimise existing drainage network.
• Coordinated operation & maintenance of assets in STWs with client’s operations contractor.
  

Project: - Doha & Rayyan Sewerage refurbishment Project. Nov 2014- Nov 2017

Client: - Ashghal (Public Works Authority) Project Value: QR110 Million

Status: - Completed.

Position: - Mechanical Engineer

• Project involved construction and operation of 6 out dated sewage pumping stations (PS3/1, PS8/1, PS 8/6, PS15, PS23 & PS31).
• Scope of works include Installation, commissioning, operation & maintenance of Main Pumps, EOT Cranes, Odour Control units, Ventilation Systems & Screening Equipment.
• Assisted Project manager in procurement, design calculations, technical proposals, maintenance plans, bill of materials, contract valuation & claims, vendor selection, mechanical Equipment selection & managing subcontractors.
• Completed construction tasks while providing safe working conditions, staying on budget and meeting project deadlines
• Obtained final completion status by coordinating and dealing with public works authority, municipality and electricity board to obtain necessary approvals
