• SECURITY GUARD
• Provide armed guard services for the protection of employees, visitors and government property within a highly restrictive area
• Serves as an Armed Security Guard to detect and prevent theft, damage, accident, trespass, sabotage, espionage and to enforce the security regulations of the installation
• Conducts vehicle searches / inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures, to include undercarriages, containers, personal property and documents of commercial and government traffic; authorized to prevent illegal entry of dangerous / prohibited items, and theft of government property
• Monitor and control personnel and vehicle access onto restricted areas of installation. Establishes the identity of all personnel seeking access to restricted area by checking for proper credentials
• Searches personnel by a variety of methods such as x-ray equipment, metal detecting wand, visual and physical methods to prevent the entry of contraband
• Conducts periodic foot and vehicle patrols of facility grounds to detect and prevent physical security breach and trespassing of perimeters, roadways, parking lots and other high traffic areas
• Establishes the identity of all personnel seeking access onto facility by checking for proper credentials such as identification cards, badges, verbal questioning, and other methods
• Perform access control to admit, deny or arrange for escort of personnel
• Maintains daily staff journals, visitor's logs and incident reports
