I worked closely with insurance agents, even going on appointments with them. I underwrote; General Liability with Product Liability, stand alone Product Liability, Professional Liability, Liquor Liability, Sexual Molestation Liability, Excess Liability, and surplus lines Property. I had the authority to adjust the rate, forms, and to vary the deductible as needed, including self-insured retentions. I enjoyed working closely with the insurance agents.

I traveled to meet with agencies all over the US to encourage them to do business with K&K insurance, review risks, go with them on appointments, and show them how simple it was to send in submissions. Once I received a surplus lines submission, I was responsible for underwriting it and choosing a carrier to submit it to for pricing. When I received the carrier's quote, go over it with the agent and if needed, contact the carrier for better pricing or terms.
