Ramey Akerman

I have been in some form of management at nearly every job I have held since I was 20 years old, when I was promoted to store manage of a $20k per week Domino's Pizza. My grandfather and my father were business owners and I ran that business for 12 years. I was raised in an environment of successful leadership. A leadership role is something that comes naturally to me. In my working years, I have had good and bad managers and have tried to learn either what to do or what not to do. I strive to be a servant leader in all my roles. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I was named the Technical Star for Southland Division for the 2022 National Biomed Meeting.

I completed the DSS Leadership Class in Nov 2022.

I was promoted to Preceptor just before my 2 year anniversary.

I was the Onboarding Champion for Trailblazers.

I have had multiple Champion roles in my local market.

I am the team lead for my area and frequently head up any projects.

I have traveled out of state and to other regions to assist other BOM's and clinics where they are having issues.

I have been a regular member of the Davita Emergency Response Team for 4 years.

I created a "PM Schedule" for my team that keeps everyone 5 weeks ahead of schedule.
