  • Refactored entire Visual Basic application nightly process using SQL Server DTS packages into a offline data store for SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Upgraded corporate intranet to SharePoint servers and migrated intranet to provide end user departments the ability to maintain intranet content.
  • Created .NET web applications in C# to track customer vehicle titles and customer repair information.
  • Refactored all data connections in web applications and desktop applications to SOAP and WCF web services. Eliminated direct database connections to optimize database performance. Optimized to stored procedures to help increase efficiency.
  • Created thick client Windows Form click-once desktop applications for inventory and collections using C#. These desktop applications utilized web services for data connections to SQL Server and AS/400 databases. These are fully functional applications created in 2008 and are still in use today by the company.
  • Created web services to interface with various vendors (examples include a web service to download Black Book vehicle valuation data in real-time for an inventory web application and a web service to accept customer payments from Western Union in real-time).
  • Refactored legacy SOAP and WCF web services to API's where needed. A few legacy applications still required legacy services to function.
  • Supported all web services, applications and nightly processes.
