Inspect railcars for damage, wear, or safety issues using visual and mechanical tools.
Repair or replace damaged components such as brakes, wheels, couplers, valves, and structural parts.
Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work as needed.
Operate pneumatic and hydraulic tools to disassemble and reassemble rail car parts.
Ensure all repairs meet AAR (Association of American Railroads) and FRA (Federal Railroad Administration) standards.
Follow strict safety procedures when working around heavy equipment and moving trains.
I went thru welding school with GBW RAILCARS SERVICES .they put me thru there own school, I was certified with a forklift and scissor lift at almost ever job I went to, I have experience using a over head crane and and tandem crane, I am CPR CERTIFIED., I speak and understand Spanish
