• Inspecting purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials according to nuclear quality program regulations such as 10CFR 50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, 10CFR72 Subpart G, ISO 3834:2005, and ISO 9001:2015, as well as ASME Code standards, to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Measuring items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, using various measuring tools including dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, height gauges, tape measures, combination squares, and go/no-go thread gauges, among others.
• Conducting visual inspections of items for defects in materials or damage occurring during transit and documenting identified issues.
• Performing receipt, in-process, on-site and remote inspections on materials purchased by Holtec or supplied by Holtec's vendors for use in fabrication, including reviewing purchase specifications and verifying conformance to purchase order requirements.
• Comparing the quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the order.
• Maintaining quality control documentation and records of measurements, tests, and inspections including recording measurements, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and approvals.
