• In this role, I am responsible for completing a variety of job functions
• These include responding to room calls, addressing day-to-day projects and emergencies, such as preventative maintenance of rooms, AC coil cleaning and maintenance, electrical and plumbing projects, roof repairs, pool and spa maintenance and repairs, and chiller maintenance
• Additionally, I am expected to promptly and courteously respond to all guest requests, following hotel standards and local regulations
• In the event of an emergency, such as fire alarms or power failures, I am trained to notify the appropriate authorities
• I also conduct regular rounds of the hotel property to ensure everything is in working order, clean and maintain equipment and work areas, handle elevator malfunctions, report any unsafe conditions to the Director of Engineering, and act as security during my shift
• Finally, I am flexible in completing any other tasks assigned to me
• Performed preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication and cleaning of machines and equipment.
• Diagnosed mechanical problems using visual inspections and test instruments.
