As Supervisor of Institutional Customer Facing for the TRICARE South Region of the Continental United States, I supervised 7 TVLS Customer Service personnel. Our job was to ensure effiicent and effective Class VIII Medical Materiel Support for all Brick & Mortar Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) in our assigned region that spans from South Carolina to Oklahoma and Texas.
Provided aggressive and effective customer support by personally visiting every MTF in our region and meeting with Materiel Management Department Heads and their staffs. These visits gave us opportunity to implement improvements to our marketing strategies, enhance customer relations, business development and build customer demand profiles.
My team and I also had a close working relationship with our Supplier Operations Procurement Staff; thereby ensuring effective support was available to resolve customer issues and discrepancies.

Ascertained Medical Materiel Requirements for Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps Customer Operational Units on a Global Scale. Worked with Services to calculate Demand Planning for their various programs and deployment operations scheduled; thereby forecasting anticipated customer requirements. I am an advocate for our Operational Customers.
Represented DLA Troop Support Medical Supply Chain at Predictive Logistics Policy Coordination and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Program Planning Conferences with both the US Army Futures Command and Center for Naval Analysis (CNA). Class VIII Medical Materiel Support Program development, review and evaluation were the main purposes of these workshops/planning conferences.
Successfully supervises 17 Direct Reports on a daily basis. Provides task assignments, guidance, and subsequent appraisal of work performed. As a supervisor I hold subordinates accountable, facilitate resolution of conflicts, ensure effectiveness of customer service, and individual development of personnel. Utilizes DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS) and other associated Inventory Management Tools such as MRO Tracker, IGC, and WEBVLIPS to ensure delivery of commodities and equipment to our global customer base; thereby ensuring order fulfillment, quality assurance, inventory management, and audit readiness.
Runs automated reports in EBS to identify trends and various conditions to assess over all materiel support.
