In May 2012, I was a Horizon Award Law Enforcement Finalist in recognition of my outstanding contributions as a Federal Employee going above and beyond my duties, and for my hard work, dedication, and commitment to service. In May 2022, I also was a finalist for the Public Service Recognition for Interagency Collaboration annual award.
In July 2013 and September 2019, I received the Regional Director's Special Recognition Award in recognition of my dedicated professionalism and loyalty shown to the mission of the Bureau of prisons, and for my passion in training staff and other federal agencies with the knowledge of identifying, monitoring, and controlling members of Disruptive Groups and Security Threat Groups. Furthermore, it recognized my performance which exemplified strong leadership, excellent teamwork, exceptional intelligence gathering, and training skills which has provided a safe environment for staff, inmates, and the public.
I received the award for Correctional Worker of the year in May 2019, and Correctional Worker of the Quarter in February 2020 and May 2005.
