RANDY BARNETTE

Began traveling to Nashville in 2009 for shows and meetings, transitioning to a full-time Nashville resident in 2018 after commuting from Minnesota. Collaborated with artists to foster musical and personal growth. Currently engaged with multiple artists in the Nashville area including Kirbi from Season 28 of the Voice and Curb Rcords providing guitar accompaniment for acoustic sessions or lead guitar in band environments. Actively compose melodies and develop music to complement lyrics, resulting in several independent artist cuts and sync placements for TV and film. Recognized as the 2022 Guitarist of the Year at the Josie Music Awards held at the Grand Ole Opry and nominated for ICMA Awards Musician of the Year. Had the privilege of performing at the Ryman Auditorium, as an accompanist opening for notable artists Jayme Johnson and Vince Gill. Conducted guitar lessons at Sam Ash Music in Nashville and currently instructing on Saturdays at Tone Central Station in East Nashville. Consistently develop unique musical ideas with guitar in hand, demonstrating ongoing creativity and commitment. Aspire to pursue a role focused on artist development, leveraging over 35 years of stage and music experience.
