This church is my second revitalization church, my first one was FBC Boyd also listed on this resume. I have a heart for helping hurting churches to bounce back spiritually and administratively. I serve these churches in a bivocational role. These are 1-2 year projects that help establish support to old roots, and plant new seeds of life to help establish new rhythms of outreach and Sunday morning church life. After two straight revitalization projects my family and I have desired to land more in a long term and full time pastoral role where we can shepherd more in the day to day.

  • Oversaw administration and management of all areas of ministry.
  • Carried out church mission by planning and leading worship services, writing sermons and working with church leaders.
  • Revamped membership process.
  • Lead stewardship campaign to raise funds to help the facility reach max potential for ministry.
  • Helped get church back to two hour Sunday School.

  • Rewrote the bylaws & church constitution which hadn't been revised in over 30 years. This was a 3 month process with deacon leadership.
  • Restructured Wednesday night programming, and we doubled our attendance on Wednesday nights.
  • We have grown about 7 new family units since January through new membership.

  • Minister to student from sixth to twelfth grade.
  • Experienced high growth in my seven years as lead youth pastor which consisted of over five hundred total youth in our group of sixth through twelfth graders.
  • Lead staff of numerous people that consisted of administrative assistant, three associate ministers and interns.
  • Was on Faith at Home team, which consisted of four other senior staff members that train families to take spiritual responsibility in their kid's life.
  • Wednesday nights we had Bible studies called Hotspots.
  • I coordinated efforts for over 40 groups and 300 plus students.
  • We took students on mission trips three times year, which includes relationship with Dominican Republic where we went internationally each Spring Break, I established and coordinated this long term relationship with this ministry partner.
