Electromechanical Engineer currently working for Ford of Mexico in the Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) as a Trainee, seeking opportunities to keep developing and broaden professional skills and expertise through the automotive industry, with a keen desire to learn from cross-functional teams, people to enhance productivity and performance.
1-. Harnesses complexity and new content
· Filled out CPA file for new 28MY harnesses' content.
· Went through PDLs for new Model Years' content and created Buildability Reports based on the listed Mfal codes.
· Run HCA and WGO harnesses complexity for New Model Years.
· Perform Analysis of complexity levels and Mfal codes options.
· Created new parts on FEDE BOM for harnesses with new usages for 28MY.
2.- Releases changes process
· Revised 2D print Mark ups for new changes on harnesses.
· Created DCRs
· Checked with Cost Estimation Ford team quotations from supplier.
· Created 2-pagers with the changes related to harnesses and took it to cost approval and Change Control review to meet GPDS timing.
· Revised parts, costs, take rates, dates, and information in Concerns on WERS.
· Followed up with TVM reduction proposals and costs for PJ1 builds.
3.- TDR and Robustness Core Documents
· Filled out P-Diagrams, Interface Analysis, Boundary Diagram and RCL from scratch.
· Supported TDR reviews with D&Rs, Suppliers and Technical Experts.
· Took responsibility on DIAS Envelops and IPS Studies Matrix and followed up with Supplier's CAD designer.
· Contributed to DFMEA File with Suppliers and D&Rs.
· Supported PRA/PAC paper file revision meeting with the team for an ICA implementation.
4.- Volunteering within EDS Department
· Organized and supported the “EDS Harnesses Cost Workshop 2024.”
· Developed a business case to delete cavity plugs and dummy wires in connectors as a TVM proposal.
· Helped developing internal team trackers for DPA checks and other deliverables.
· Supported the Ford Day at Metamorphosis foundation for kids with disabilities.
