Since Covid, Quarantine, and Distance Learning I have made my self-care more of a priority. Over time, I have incorporated more of the SEL curriculum to my lesson plans. I place more of an emphasis on personal connections with Students, Staff, and Parents. I have learned to slow down the pace of my instruction and taking more time to make sure each student is having a positive experience but also utilize the power of collaboration and teamwork , mixed in with fun and music.
