As an Airport Operations Supervisor, responsibility includes overseeing all aspects of airport operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. This pivotal role involves supervising a diverse range of tasks, from ensuring safety and security to optimizing operational processes and enhancing customer experiences.
Primary Responsibility includes:
Safety and Security: Prioritize safety and security throughout the airport properties. Collaborate closely with security teams, law enforcement and regulatory bodies to implement and maintain stringent safety protocols, minimizing risks and ensuring the well-being of passengers, employees, and aircraft.
Operational Efficiency: Continuously assess processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency. This includes airside operations, terminal management, ground services, and baggage handling.
Compliance and Regulations: Ensure strict adherence to aviation regulations, local laws, and international standards. Stay up-to-date with industry changes and proactively implement necessary measures to maintain compliance.
Customer Experience: Collaborate with airline partners and service providers to create a customer-centric environment, ensuring a seamless journey from check-in to departure.
Emergency Response and Contingency Planning: In the event of emergencies or disruptions, lead the airport's response efforts. Develop and test contingency plans, coordinating with relevant authorities and agencies to mitigate potential risks and minimize disruptions.
