My duties were to weld the aluminum frames that hold the high voltage switches for the power grid. Various frames shapes, sizes, angles. I used a mig welder for the frames. Also I did all the tig welding for the company mainly welding 1/2 inch copper pipe, terminal pads, switch gear accessories. My duties included stamping all frames, documenting all work preformed listing serial numbers and any other information

  • Operated oxyacetylene cutting equipment to cut material prior to fabrication processes.
  • Ensured that all welds met applicable codes such as AWS D1.2 Structural Welding Code – Aluminum.
  • Reviewed customer drawings to determine best practices for assembling components into finished product per customer requirements.
  • Followed safety protocols at all times while operating welding machines and related equipment.
