• Head of household & caregiver for disabled child, Family homestead (2015-Present) Worked odd jobs as a refugee to provide family income after dad's passing. Bought medicine and cared for adoptive brother suffering from epilepsy.
• Founder, Ubuntu Peace Project. Held interviews with Burundian figures. Organized talks with my classmates on peaceful conflict resolution through Ubuntu philosophy in Burundi.
• Vice President (2012-2013); President (2013-2014), UNESCO club Organized school general knowledge competitions; won the national inter-schools "Budding Geniuses" competition ('13&'22); coached junior team members.

• Volunteered at 'Talitha Koum-Autisme Burundi' helping illiterate mothers with autistic children file administrative papers to request allowances from the Ministry of National Solidarity (August 2023- August 2024).
• Served as one of the youth representatives and the sanitary service chief in the Kamanyola refugee camp in Congo (2015-2017).
• Captain of the debate team in 12th grade at Lycée du Saint-Esprit where we debated on different polarizing topics such as ethnic quotas in Burundi and the death penalty (2013-2014).
• Trained as a young journalist in 11th grade at Lycée du Saint-Esprit through a project organized by the German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (2012-2013).
• Member of the theater group at Lycée du Saint-Esprit where I performed as an actor in plays such as ‘L’avare’ by Molière and ‘Romeo et Juliette’ by Shakespeare (2011-2013).
• Active member of a local NGO called ‘OLUCOME,’ which denounces and fights against corruption in Burundi (2011-2015).
• Member of a folkloric dance club called ‘Club du lac aux oiseaux-Intashikirwa’ which promotes and keeps alive cultural dances, songs, and cow poetry from the region of Kirundo I originate from (2003-Present).
