Enthusiastic and quality-driven Biomedical Scientist currently pursuing a PhD with a strong background in Pharmacology & Neuroscience. 6+ years of research experience in different countries (India, US) and cultures conducting research protocols, literature reviews, data management and analysis, and presenting at national conferences. Interested in integrating my strong interpersonal skills, research expertise and motivation to interpret and communicate mechanistic and clinical evidence in a dynamic, data-driven, and team-focused environment to ultimately achieve improved patient care.

• Mentored 2 graduate, 5 undergraduate and 5 high school students from underrepresented communities on neuroscience research practices, analytical thinking, problem-solving and scientific writing.
• Volunteer for Domestic Abuse Prevention Student Organization to advocate against domestic abuse, raise awareness and create a safe space for domestic abuse victims and survivors on university campus.
• Volunteer monthly for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana to distribute nutritious food to >1million Hoosiers facing hunger and in need of food assistance.
• Volunteer for the non-profit organizations Pather Dishary and Swayam, in India, to organize campaigns to fund education for underprivileged and orphaned children, help create medical awareness and fundraisers to distribute hygiene products and medical supplies to poor and backward communities and supports survivors of domestic abuse
