Serving as the senior leader of Masshealth's ' Health Information Exchange (HIway -masshiway.net), I am responsible for all aspects of the program including Technical Development, Operations and Program management. Currently the program facilitates the exchange of more than 35 million messages between healthcare providers, Public Health Departments, and the federal government programs. I addition to the HIE, I am also responsible for several other MassHealth applications. As a senior leader, my responsibilities include the following
Responsible for Soarian Clinicals' implementation and maintenance at Fresenius Medical Care. Fresenius is a $17b company with 2800 dialysis clinics across the US. The challenge was to bring all the clinics into the fold of Siemen's Soarian Clinicals (now Cerner) environment. Responsibilities included building an instance to onboard 800 clinics to transmit the dialysis data, operating on 24x7 restrictions, and coordinating with multiple teams.
· Managed complex projects from inception to rollout. Facilitated 30+ members in the charter, kickoff, and handoff meetings. Facilitated daily development meetings once the planning phase was completed to ensure the development efforts went smoothly.
· Implemented the PMO's SDLC processes for several development projects. These projects could be anywhere from minor enhancements to large development efforts
· Establishment of IT architecture and processes to ensure appropriate evolution of architecture. Participated in numerous architecture reviews.
Worked closely in developing the company's flagship product called “Lendware”, a Loan Origination System. This enterprise application was built using the XML/XSL and FORTE 4GL technologies in a distributed architecture and was licensed to Bank of America and Washington Mutual. Bank of America acquired Framework in February 2002.
