In the Spring Semester I had the opportunity work with the Medically Fragile Unit. Learned open hand control technique from clinical staff to safely subdue student that became physically aggressive with staff and other students. Provided consistent management and monitoring of symptoms for students with chronic, life-threatening physical health conditions. Delivered daily therapeutic health support for students with medical conditions.

Developed and implemented specialized care plans in collaboration with school and clinical staff to ensure students’ health needs were met, facilitating their school attendance and participation.
