-Manages services and departments in providing patient care equipment and surgical instrumentation reprocessing functions including; collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, high-level disinfection and distribution

-Develops and ensures compliance with departmental budget. Manages fixed departmental equipment and plant property. Works collaboratively with other departments and units to ensure efficient, safe and effective instrument and equipment availability. Models excellence in customer service, ensuring the highest standards for both internal and external constituent satisfaction.

-Oversees department budget and involvement within multiple operations and project management

-Coordinating the activities on flexible endoscope and endocavity probe reprocessing. Provide support to clinic managers responsible for endoscope/endocavity reprocessing areas. Support may include but not be limited to; staff training, initial and annual competency review, and performing audits. Develops and maintains on-going staff development.

- Collaborating with Project managers to initiate and complete projects.

- Monitors and reports compliance with sterilization and high-level disinfection mandatory testing processes in the medical center and satellite clinics.

- Audit facilities to ensure proper policies are followed

- Prepare facilities of national survey
