  • Contact the salesperson if product was returned past the allotted time to receive credit for credit approval or not and if the information on the product received does not match the information sent on their invoice.
  • Process customer returns approved for credit to be put back into inventory.
  • Create spreadsheet daily for products returned from customers and distribute to department leads to put back into inventory.

  • Returns: check incoming customer returns (PRD & P80 [SAP] or Oracle) for the reason returned (warehouse error, customer error or carrier error) and if authorized or unauthorized return.

  • Process authorized PRD and Oracle returns and receive product back into inventory or if needed damage/scrap out.

  • Cycle counts: run inventory report in Access for set number of locations to count.

  • Report findings to the receiving lead to address the person and/or group responsible for the error (receiving, put away, order picking) to prevent error from happening again.
  • Make adjustment in system (SAP, Oracle) to correct inventory.

  • Create a new license plate with product ID number, correct batch number and correct quantity, assign a location and attach to product.
  • Transfer restocked product with forklift to storage location.
