Fannie Mae(FM) is a leading source of mortgage financing in the United States. FM partners with mortgage lenders and servicers, housing counselors, real estate agents, nonprofit organizations, and other industry professionals to help people obtain a home and stay in that home when faced with hardship or disaster. FM business is focused on two primary types of houses, i.e., single-family and multifamily.

Responsibilities:

• Created detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for development projects.

The company was created in 2002 through the merger of Incyte Pharmaceuticals, founded in Palo Alto, California in 1991 and Incyte Genomics, Inc. of Delaware. The company currently operates manufacturing and R&D locations in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Incyte Corporation currently develops and manufacturers prescription biopharmaceutical medications in multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, inflammation, and autoimmunity.

Responsibilities:

• Worked closely with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specs for efficient implementation of projects.
• Utilized established design patterns to expedite novel software creation and support consistent performance results.
• Extracted and integrated data from iCORE, IDEA's, and Hyperion systems.

The College Board is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity. Each year, the College Board helps more than seven million students prepare for a successful transition to college through programs and services in college readiness and college success, including the SAT/PSAT and the Advanced Placement (AP) Program. The organization also serves the education community through research and advocacy on behalf of students, educators, and schools.

I worked as part of the AP Program, and below are the top five day-to-day responsibilities in this project.

• Analyze the current project state, and document.
• Work with the business to gather the requirements and design a to-be logical solution.
• Come up with a mock-up design and review it with the business. Design and implement solutions, and manage day-to-day activities.

Urban Compass is a real estate technology company building a modern real estate platform to search the agent community and make the real estate search and selling experience intelligent and seamless. Compass is an Azure cloud and AWS shop using different Azure cloud and AWS services to build a robust and future-focused technology and serve Compass agents. Being a part of the Data Intelligence team, we capture data from various data sources (Salesforce, Qualtrics Surveys, SendGrid, MLS, Canny feedback, and others), integrate it, and load it into a centralized data warehouse in Azure Cloud SQL Server DB. Power BI is a BI tool on Azure SQL Server to build analytics and create various dashboards. Also, some of the data sets are being maintained in a data lake on S3 in AWS, so that other applications can connect and use these data sets for analytics purposes. Visiting Nurse Service of New York(VNSNY) is the largest not-for-profit home- and community-based health care organization in the United States, serving the five boroughs of New York City, and Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties. This project is to integrate service claims into the Centralized Enterprise Data Lake (CEDL), supporting reporting capabilities for service metrics, billing, planning, and others. Homecare Home Base (HCHB) is the primary OLTP source (SQL Server).

(NYSE: COTY) is a leading global beauty company, based in New York, founded in Paris, with a portfolio of well-known brands in the categories of Fragrances, Color Cosmetics, Skin Care, and Body Care. It is known for its cooperation with designers and celebrities for the creation of fragrances. This project is to build an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to support reporting capabilities for Sales, Finance, supply chain planning, and salon subject areas help business users across different geographical regions. SAP is the primary OLTP ERP source. Other source systems are HFM (Oracle), Manugistics (Oracle), and flat files.

Below are some of my key accomplishments and responsibilities at COTY.

• Design, develop, and execute an end-to-end ETL framework using Informatica PowerCenter 9.x.
• Built standard audit and error logging procedures.
• Built a unique load-tracking framework that captures load statistics and alerts proactively in case of any issues.

• Created reusable transformations to move data from staging to the EDW.
• Created replication procedures to refresh data marts.

CoreLogic is a financial, property, and consumer information, analytics, and services company enabling customers nationally and globally to solve their business challenges of risk and opportunity management.

Whether approving a loan, managing fraud, mitigating property hazard risk, reducing excessive HOA fees, evaluating a tenant application, or just comparing sales in a neighborhood, the information and services needed to do the job are provided by them. As a Principal Consultant, I support various products and provide ETL solutions. I work with Product Managers to analyze the upcoming enhancements, and plan the work accordingly. I work with the senior management team both in CoreLogic and Cognizant to monitor resource utilization and look for any new opportunities.

Here are some of the major responsibilities I deal with day in and day out:

• Work with Product Managers to review the backlogs for a sprint, and negotiate the timelines.
• Design an end-to-end ETL process flow.
• Develop complex ETL processes for critical ETL deliverables.
• Assist the cross-team (QA, MSTR, WEB) to help them understand the complex business rules applied in the ETL process.
• Play the Informatica Admin role to assist teams across the board with migrations, user account creations, granting access, etc. and other admin duties.
• Extensive work on the Vertica database (Big Data), which is an upcoming database technology in the BI space.
• Help the team resolve the complex issues and troubleshoot the bugs.
• Work on different POCs to see if a solution is feasible or not.
• Report the status of different deliverables to the Product/Project managers during scrum meetings.
• Perform the code reviews developed by the teams, and suggest changes for improvement, if any.
• Support the existing product data loads running in production.
• Work with the senior management team for resource assignment for upcoming projects, and make sure things are delivered as per the project timelines.
• Report the status of work deliverables to the management team in a timely manner.
• Escalate issues, if any, to upstairs as necessary, and keep everyone posted in a timely manner to mitigate risk.
