Project : Legacy server/application migration

Responsibilities

• Application development using Java, Spring, Hibernate, HTML5 CSS3, JavaScript, C#, Objective C, compiling, verifying code developed by team members, developing or creating new applications, innovative new solutions, responsible for validation of work at onsite and offshore.
• Develop testing routines, test cases, perform unit, integration and load testing, testing DCP Midstream applications to ensure smooth functioning of software components.
• Provide technical and functional support for software applications, enhancements in existing systems or applications to improve performance and defects fixing.
• Create solution package, responsible for QA, UAT and Production applications deployment.
• Work with the business users to strategize and decide on managing project, design cost, testing effort, future implementations and upgrades for all custom applications.
• Arrange meetings or discussion with stakeholders to perform support activity for the project.

Project : Field Work Flow application (Legacy Application retirement)

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing requirements from client, query discussions, review and documentation.
• Architecting and designing FWF and Work Order approval applications and technical design documentation.
• Design of offline SQLite database.
• Lead the technical development team in design & development of java component for Maximo backend connectivity using REST APIs, creation of Spring REST Web Services consumed by native application, development of UI, implementing business logic and data Integration.
• Coordination with other development teams – testing and Maximo teams.
• Project proposal documentation and estimations.
• Preparation of project plans, task allocation, status monitoring and reporting, code reviews.

Project : Mobile Device management (Airwatch & XenMDM) implementation/administration.

Responsibilities

• Authored, managed, maintained, supported, troubleshooted and optimized the MDM program.
• Established a list of approved devices, created an online registration system and process to move/add/delete changes for 3000+ employees and their mobile devices within 24 hours.
• Created security and device management policies.
• Recommend the types of data and apps accessed by employee-owned devices.
• Assisted end users via telephone, e-mail with a wide range of questions, problems and requests with their iOS and other mobile connectivity needs.
• Worked closely with engineers to architect, develop and optimize the mobile infrastructure.
• Reported status of development, quality, operations and system performance to executive leadership
• Successfully set up Exchange ActiveSync on iOS, Android and Windows devices.
• Successfully set up Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access enterprise application securely on MDM registered devices.

Project : Enterprise Mobility Middleware and Application development

Responsibilities

• Developed webserbvices to communicate with PeopleSoft and MAXIMO API with ‘service-layer' of mobility middleware.
• Developed web service to be used by PeopleSoft and MAXIMO to send notification to mobility middleware.
• Created an admin console to manage users, devices, applications.
• Developed web pages using JSP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Involved in designing the database to store the static data used by application which are developed in-house for enterprise usage.
• Converted the unit test cases to system level test plan and assisted QA team in execution.
