As an Administrative Assistant Intern at West Indies Soul Food, I supported daily business operations by managing scheduling, communications, and office organization. I created marketing materials, including sell sheets, for distribution to partners and clients, and assisted with developing and posting content for the company's social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement. I also contributed to event coordination and maintained an organized filing system for efficient information access. Throughout the internship, I demonstrated strong time management, dependability, and professionalism in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
I’m graduating from Bethel University in just a few weeks with a degree in Business, emphasizing Marketing. Throughout my academic and personal journey, I’ve focused on developing both leadership and practical skills. In high school, I was honored as Football Player of the Week for leadership, which reflected my commitment to teamwork and perseverance. I also completed a mentorship program designed to prepare young men for the business world, where I gained valuable insight into professional growth and networking. During my time at Bethel, I actively participated in campus events and community-building opportunities, further shaping my communication and leadership abilities. These experiences have prepared me to enter the workforce with a strong sense of purpose, responsibility, and a desire to keep learning.
