I bring 20 plus years of construction experience to the industry. Throughout my career, I have gained knowledgeable hands-on skills in the health and safety fields, to ensure the well-being of employees. As a Safety Manager, my duties and roles is the responsibility of the health and safety of employees and mange field employees working under me. My past and some current responsibilities included the following, determining job hazard analysis, conducting morning safety meetings, and sight administration duties for safety which include site safety audits, interface with client and sub-contractors. I was also responsible for badging new employees and processing them to be able to gain access onto KUCC property. I did MSHA training on site, and other task specific training as required..   • I am responsible for the health and safety of over 200 employees at an Ethanol Plant in Kansas.
  • I submit all required documentation to the client, update training matrix, and turn in all required environmental monthly forms.
  • I manage all field safety reps and assure Brahma employees are in compliance under OSHA's standards and meet the client's (ABEINSA) standards to assure the safety of our employees.
  • I perform a morning meeting with all employees and run a morning meeting with all fore mans.
  • I am responsible for all new hire training and site specific training.
  • I maintain our MSDS to keep it current, and I follow up at the end of each week with a full roll up to assure all equipment is inspected and marked appropriate.
  • I work long hours and I am involved in all aspects of the new construction, including purchasing consumables on my credit card to keep the project moving forward and keeping crews busy.
  • I manage any injuries or incidents in a careful fashion to benefit the company and the individual involved.
  • I am in constant communication with the client usually by phone or by emails to answer any questions or problems that may arise, and then communicate them to our employees.

  • April - June 2012 First duty as an Assistant Project Manager at Deseret Chemical Depot (Tooele, Utah), we disassembled a DAVINCH system with zero injuries/reportables and finished 6 weeks ahead of schedule.
  • I managed multiple crews and instructed them on their daily tasks.

  • Helped bid a job at Tesoro and we were awarded the contract.
  • I started the project but got pulled off to run the demo project in AZ.
  • September - March 2013Construction Manager overseeing a huge demolition job at Freeport McMoran Mine in Arizona, completed the project on schedule and on budget with zero incidents.
  • I oversaw the Project and managed all personnel, purchased supplies and set up vendors for future materials and rentals.
  • I corresponded with the client and attended all schedule outlook meetings and updated weekly progress.
  • April - July 2013 Completed a small project at DCD on a small demolition project, removal of burners and piping; and oversight for JT Thorpe.

  • I was responsible for obtaining all work permits and work orders at the beginning of each day as well as when a new job (task) would arise.

  • I was also given clearance through the FBI to work on the Depot without an escort.
  • I processed all employees so that they could obtain a badge and come onsite, which include interacting with the EG&G personnel.
  • I was in charge of lockers and masks, and new employees receiving all proper training.
  • I was able to communicate with the client on a professional level to recognize all their policies and procedures, and included some PR skills.
  • I continually trained all our sub-contractors on Brahma's safety policies to inform them on our procedures.
  • I multi-task in order to be able to help out where I was needed throughout the projects that we had at that time.
