· Be able to drive and successfully operate a vehicle with Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs.

· Pick up loads for recycle from various major companies on timely manner

· Load and unload various types of cargo safely

· Drive safely in various conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather

· Inspect vehicle before start of shift; perform basic truck maintenance when necessary

· Follow schedule and rest when necessary

· Be able to read maps and follow directions to location

· Follow safety rules and pre-trip vehicle.

· Operate Rear Loading Truck.

· Pick up organics and yard trimmings.

· Follow routes, read street maps and micro routes to locate destinations.

· Perform basic vehicle inspection and maintenance and maintain vehicle records.

· Make decisions whether to pick up if set out improperly.

· Complete paperwork related to collection of activities.

· Dump organics and yard trimmings at proper vendor locations.
