A dedicated and detail-oriented candidate with experience in digital and traditional design, technical support, scheduling, and programming. I am proficient in project management, writing, proofreading, and presentation skills. I am adaptable and capable of working long hours, or overtime, holidays, and weekends. While I have weaknesses in thoughtfully navigating noisy or busy environments when stress and pressure are high, I am continuously bettering this part of myself and can prepare my own accommodations for support in a worst-case scenario that will not interfere with my ability to perform any professional task. I will never let any difficulties I personally have get in the way of efficiently committing myself to any duty I am assigned. I will always give my best performance, and if given the opportunity, I am confident you'll find me to be a reliable, diligent member of your team.
During this experience, I not only sharpened my programming skills, but I also began to learn how to work efficiently as a team player. I refined my social skills, learned how to communicate efficaciously with the other members, made plans for the competition, helped schedule competitions and meetings, and developed a knack for basic engineering and STEM-related projects. I was the designated writer for the team as well, due to my small handwriting and tidiness. I kept organized notes of all our competitions, and updated the engineering notebook frequently. Our engineering notebook was always highly graded because of this.
I also began to rediscover my love of programming and computers through this experience, as I took a programming class and a robotics class. I began properly learning American Sign Language (ASL), and I am now a more advanced beginner in this language.
