Summary

A great listener able to evolve my advice and service to those on the other end, whether that be a customer, coworker, or client of behavioral/caregiving aide. Every Supervisor I've worked under has complimented me on my patience and ability to never be affected by upsetting situations nor difficult customers/clients- I would say this is my strongest skill I may bring. I am dedicated and reliable, as well as capable of learning very quickly. I push myself to always be on top of my tasks, help those around me, as well as staying positive throughout every shift. With a drive to show up on time, make my hours, and support my family, I know I will be able to bring whatever help is needed.

Work History

Deli Line/Packer

Oliver’s Market
  • With Oliver’s, every day was different, but an overall pattern was able to be adopted after working there so long. I grew accustomed to how things were different in summer vs. winter, holiday seasons, local school events, etc. With each day, we would either prepare for the rushes, keep ourselves busy with tasks of our department and neighboring areas, or start prepping the needed items weeks in advance for holiday season. The basic duties were slicing, filling, cleaning, restocking, assisting customers, working on online/phone orders, doing catering orders, and so on. Everyone was very on top of things here, but if they weren’t, it was mine and one other’s job to pick up in areas we lacked. I proved to my managers that I could be counted on, so I became a “Roundsman”, and was called to other departments when needed or to cover other positions when lacking (one of these being Packing, which was working in the warehouse, fulfilling shipments, logging incoming orders, stocking, counting inventory, temp management, etc.). We were a very large team, and there were endless things needing to be done. This job really taught me time management, multitasking and prioritization, as well as how to run my multiple areas at once. Despite what might seem like difficulties, this was my favorite job of all.
  • Operated packing machinery to ensure efficient product assembly and packaging.
  • Maintained cleanliness of work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Inspected finished products for quality assurance before dispatch.
  • Collaborated with team members to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
  • Streamlined ordering processes, improving efficiency and accuracy in procurement.
  • Resolved customer complaints promptly, fostering positive shopping experiences and loyalty.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards for deli products and services.
  • Provided exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to inquiries.
  • Managed inventory levels, reducing waste through effective stock rotation methods.

Deli Line/Cashier/Assistant Manager

Togo’s Eatery
  • Togo's helped me be accustomed to inconsistent customer flow. I grew fond of lunch rushes and keeping myself busy. When no one was in store, we knew to work on dishes, prep more sauce containers, work on any catering orders, clean up our stations, etc. As a cashier, I found myself having small talk with customers and being quick with change. I worked early morning prep shifts as well as closing shifts at Togo's. Assistant manager encapsulated all previous responsibilities, as well as training new hires, delegating tasks (prioritization of replenishing ingredients during rushes, break time management for coworkers, staying on top of to do list during slow time), as well as making sure new item promotions were recommended to customers, took care of any problems a customer had with their order, and I knew to step in when a coworker was in a possible uncomfortable situation while still trying to ensure the clientele left happily. I took pride in my coworkers compliments on being happy with their schedules I put thought into, and although we never had many issues, I felt comfortable helping solve any workplace conflicts. I enjoyed working here for 4+ years, so by then I really knew everyone, or at least felt comfortable with the established staff and any new hires to come! I was very accustomed to working over time and double shifts throughout my time at Togo's, as well.
  • Assisted in training new cashiers on operational procedures and customer service standards.
  • Ensured accurate cash handling and transaction processing to maintain financial integrity.
  • Monitored inventory levels, placing orders to replenish stock as needed for smooth operations.
  • Collaborated with management to implement promotional campaigns, enhancing customer engagement.
  • Resolved customer inquiries and complaints promptly, fostering a positive dining experience.
  • Streamlined checkout processes, improving efficiency during peak hours to minimize wait times.
  • Conducted staff performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance team productivity.
  • Developed scheduling strategies to optimize workforce allocation in accordance with business needs.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction by providing efficient and friendly service at the cashier counter.
  • Assisted in inventory management tasks, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing product loss due to expiration or damage.
  • Improved overall store cleanliness and presentation, resulting in a more welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Built positive relationships with customers to increase repeat business.

Childcare/Caregiving

RVUSD , ACES , INSPIRE

I, while working my foodservice jobs, love to keep a job in child development or providing some sort of care to progress my resumé and experience in the field. I have worked with numerous groups! From toddlers, GenEd students from grades K-6, children on the spectrum (classroom, 1-on-1, in home, and office based), those of high maladaptive behaviors (RISE program), medically fragile high school students requiring more specialized care, as well as elderly care in home. These jobs included the typically assumed duties of aide, such as tutoring, meal prep, heavy lifting, potty training, cleaning, bathing elderly clients, maintaining a classroom, handling clients’ mental health, working with children on the spectrum/helping behavioral plans/elopement/minimizing maladaptive behaviors on the fly/taking part in singing/dancing/art activities, etc., organizing, taking care of their pets/homes, running errands, attending appointments, picking up prescriptions, even coordinating extracurricular fun/field trips/etc. I include these to show my dedication (working 60+ hours a week for about 6 years between food and childcare), that I’m able to multitask, and that I have strong reliability and mental regulation to stay on top of things. These jobs have a lot more to them, but with every experience you still go in loving to see those familiar faces!

My job breakdown is:

-In home Caregiver for double amputee, elderly client 2015-2018 (Left because client passed away)

  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Worked effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

-ACES Behavioral Services 2018-2020 (Left due to Covid)

-RVUSD at Whited Elementary (GenEd) 2021-2023 (Left to pursue my interest in Special Education)

-Inspire Behavioral Services 2023-2026 (Left due to our room's Teacher going on maternity leave, quitting, and a replacement teacher not being found yet. I was put into Substitute work, but found that was not for me. I LOVE the company, but preferred a stable position, so we parted ways on good terms!)
