My responsibilities as a cashier/sales associate at Ross Dress for Less was excellent customer service, cash handling, cleaning my register, and restocking apparel to the correct places. My significant achievement since this was my first time working in retail, we were timed on our registers. Every 4 seconds a new receipt would print out after my customer had paid and it would take 4 seconds to bag everything. It was store policy that we scan, de-hang, and bag each item. First two weeks that I started working, I had the lowest percentage on my register. My manager had a talk with me during my break and she gave me excellent tips on how to be quicker. I followed the tips she had gave me to the bone and soon enough, I was one of the most fastest cashiers with an average of 110% on my register. During my time working at Ross Stores, I have contributed an abundance to the team and to our customers as listed here!
