As a Derrickhand I am responsible for

• Preform lock out tag out procedures on equipment to safetly do daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on mud pumps. And keep inventory of pump parts.

• Mentoring and assisting Motorhand and Floorhands.

• Monitoring mud pit level that includes fluid transfers and mixing chemicals.

• Insect shaker screens for our fluid returns for holes/damages and replace as needed.

• Assisted in rigging operations by attaching cables to lifting devices or hoisting equipment.

• Ensure safety valves are in the correct position on our BOP and choke manifold.

• Operated a variety of hand tools and power tools for various maintenance activities.

At the City of Lubbock I was responsible for

• Repairing residential property fences wood, pipe, metal, chain link and a few mail boxes.

• Help deliver dumpsters and roll off containers.

• Operated a variety of hand tools and power tools for various maintenance activities.
• Carried out minor painting jobs around the facility as required.
• Maintained accurate records of all repairs performed and materials used for future reference.
