As an experienced lease operator with over two decades of oilfield working knowledge, I have worked with countless numbers of roustabout gangs, chemical companies and other service professionals to achieve a safe and successful outcome desired by my employer. I have trained and helped develop new employees and I have very good working knowledge of many types of lease operations and operating equipment.   • Acquired extensive experience in gas lift operations and well management. in gas lift operated field and conventional rod lift and plunger lift wells.
  • I am very familiar with rod lift wells and pump off controllers and at most times can diagnose issues with these wells.
  • I have experience shooting fluid levels on rod lift wells as well as raising and lowering of rods to enhance production, etc.
  • Oversaw operations of plunger lift systems to optimize production. wells and various well equipment, including high/low pressure valves, combustors, flares, heater treaters, and test separators.
  • Conducted daily maintenance on compressors, fixed production equipment on leases, and adjusted well controllers as needed.
  • Monitored safety systems on lease equipment and tracked rates and pressures on all production wells daily.

Pipeline Operator

Wood plc/ Sable Resources
  • During my time contracting for Sable resources through Wood Plc. I gained over eight months' experience in a gas lift operated field with some conventional rod lift wells and plunger lift wells as well.
  • Performed extensive compressor maintenance, lease maintenance, and repairs on production equipment.
  • Monitored safety systems on lease equipment and tracked rates and pressures on all production wells to maintain compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Performed extensive compressor maintenance, lease maintenance, production equipment repairs, and adjustments to various well controllers to ensure optimal operation.
  • I also monitored safety systems on lease equipment, monitored rates and pressures on all production wells I maintained on a daily basis.
  • Gained experience with plunger lift wells and diverse facility equipment including combustors, flares, heater treaters, test separators, production separators, vapor recovery units, and DeHy units.
  • Overall, I have a great deal of knowledge with above ground operations and also a great deal of extensive computer training and oilfield computer program knowledge.

Contract lease operator

Warriner Operating
  • Contract operation of a water flood and a high gas producing lease for Merit Energy as a contractor and I also operated several salt water disposal sites in addition to my lease operation duties.
  • Lease production optimization was part of my responsibilities as well as performing routine maintenance on operating equipment such as compressors, back pressure kim-ray valves, dump valves, heater maintenance, repair of gas and oil meters and gauges, restarting compressors and ajax engines, supervising workers engaged in repair or placement of working equipment, worked oil, monitored gauges and flow meters and inspected equipment to ensure that tank levels, temperatures, chemical volumes and pressures were at specified levels, and I reported abnormalities as necessary.
  • Unfortunately, the oil company I operated for sold my leases and I was unable to find replacement contracts.
  • During this time period as I mentioned, I operated salt water disposals for pronghorn energy where I cleaned working pots, worked and sold oil and collected water and oil haul tickets.

Senior Lease Operator

Hunt Oil Company
  • I worked as a senior operator/well tech on leases mainly comprised of lower producing stripper wells drilled in the Sprayberry zone.
  • I also operated a handful of high producing newly drilled wells that I devoted most of my time to.
  • These were horizontal wells that were either flowing or on submersible pump.
  • My daily activities included monitoring well activity, battery facilities, training new operators, shooting fluid levels, taking gas samples.
  • Facilities control and maintaining daily lease operation guidelines were part of my responsibilities as well as performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, repairing gas and oil meters and pumps, starting compressor engines, diverting oil from storage tanks, supervising lease operations and supervising the workers engaged in daily operations, working oil, monitoring gauges and flow meters and inspecting equipment to ensure that tank levels, temperatures, chemical amounts and working pressures are at desired levels.

Senior Lease Operator

Reliance Energy
  • Worked as a senior operator/well tech. in a fast-paced, high gas and oil producing field comprised of many types of producing wells including flowing, rod lift and sub pump wells.
  • Shooting fluid levels, training less experienced operators, facilities control and maintaining daily lease operation guidelines were part of responsibilities as well as performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment and repairs on gas and oil meters.
  • Pumping fresh water to frac sites as desired, starting compressor engines, diverting oil from storage tanks, supervising lease operators and other workers engaged in daily operations.
  • Working oil, monitoring gauges and flow meters and inspecting equipment to ensure that tank levels, temperatures, and chemical volumes are at specified levels, reporting abnormalities as necessary.
  • I also repaired facility equipment such as back pressure valves and regulators.

  • Worked as Lease operator II on a water flood lease.
  • Daily responsibilities was to monitor leases using S.C.A.D.A. during pumping operations in order to ensure that materials are being pumped at the correct pressure, density, rate, and concentration.
  • Operated engines and pumps in order to shut off wells according to production schedules, and to switch flow of oil into storage tanks.
  • Performed routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, repaired gas and oil meters and gauges.
