  • Obtaining, preparing, and perfecting all sales and merchant acquisition documents and items required for completion of sale and other ancillary services.
  • Prepare proposals to individuals/companies in an effort to sell the Banks’ suite of credit cards/POS & acquiring products.
  • Foster good relationship with merchant and ensure usage of the Banks’ POS.
  • Action requests for closed accounts and inactive accounts by contacting customers and encouraging them to maintain the facility in order to keep the bank’s market share of credit card.
  • Ensure monthly bills on credit card accounts are repaid on timely basis.
  • Participate in the Banks booths/fairs/conventions etc to promote credit card products. Follow up on staff referrals with a view to obtaining new credit card customers.
  • Prepare reports on assigned portfolio to accurately track sale & usage of credit cards and POS/ecommerce on weekly / monthly basis.
  • To monitor performance of existing merchants and ensure that the Bank always has the competitive advantage in pricing and POS/ecommerce sales.
  • Recommend POS reassigning base on merchant performance using set target.

Payroll Processing

  • Inputs all payroll data verified by the Manager, Compensation & Benefits for staff payments. This includes New Hires, Upgrades, Exited Staff, Transfers, Overtime, etc
  • Processes staff payroll (salaries) according to instructions received. This includes the Bank and its subsidiaries. This includes Republic Bank (Ghana) Plc, Republic Investments Ghana Limited, Republic Boafo Ghana Limited, Republic Securities and Republic Trust Limited Company.
  • Analyses the bulk salaries paid into various cost centers. ie; Branches. Departments & Subsidiaries. Microsoft Excel based.
  • Maintains all payroll files and records, including regular filing of correspondence and forms.
  • Prepares Entitlements and Indebtedness for exiting staff member(s) and ensures all HR related debts are paid at exit or exited staff’s Provident Fund is enough to settle the debt. ie; Unearned leave Allowance, Unearned fuel Allowance, Personal loan, Auto Loan, etc
  • Prepares Income Certification for staff Mortgages
  • Staff Accounts Payable and Receivables
  • Processes staff claims such as Relocation allowance, Medical bills & claims, Professional Examination Fees, etc in line with Banks Policy for payment.
  • Processes staff PAYE and WHT TAX for payment and ensures it is paid on time after salaries.
  • Prepares staff Pensions for onward payment to Pension fund managers after salaries are paid.
  • Inputs/Keys all T24 related transactions into the core Banking Application for Authorization. ie; Fund Transfers(FT’s), Tier 2 & 3 Pension transactions, Data Capture, etc.
  • Resolve all Payroll issues after salaries are paid if any.
  • Prepares a Comprehensive Payroll report and Trend Analysis after salaries are paid to the Head, Human Resources and General Manager, Finance and Strategy.
  • Assist and provide data/information requested by Auditors during Audits. This includes Internal and External Audits.

Staff Loans Management – Credit Risk & Administration

  • Originates and documents staff loan.
  • Ensures staff loans are secured with the approved collateral as per staff loans Policy.
  • Sets up credit facilities for staff in accordance with the offer letter or approval.
  • Monitors and maintains the staff loan portfolio and prepares reports to Manager, Compensation & Benefits.
  • Performs maintenance and contract amendments on running facilities using AA activities in T24. ie: AA Payoff, AA principal decrease, AA Disbursement, AA Cash Pool, AA Schedule Amendment and any other Loan Activity.
  • Ensures there are no income leakages through the posting of appropriate interest in strict compliance with the terms and conditions of the credit policies and processes.
  • Ensures that pre-disbursement conditions and procedures are followed and effectively managed after a facility is approved.
  • Reviews the offer letter prior to disbursement to ensure that conditions for disbursement are as approved.
  • Pay off staff Loans and prepares memo to Legal for release of car documentation.
  • Prepare a Comprehensive monthly staff loans report to the Head, Human Resources.

Fuel Card Management

  • Manages the Bank and its subsidiaries Fuel Card Processes
  • Ensures issues relating staff fuel card are resolved in a timely manner. ie; New Cards, Replacements, Pin Reset and Card Unblocking.
  • Ensures Bills are paid promptly and our account with total Ghana showing a zero balance at all times after payment is made.
  • Carries out reconciliation with the service provider (Total Ghana Ltd.) to ensure Debit equals credit.

Medical Administration

  • Acts as the central point for staff medicals.
  • Manages staff medical bills for the Bank and its subsidiaries from designated hospitals and process it for payment
  • Processes staff medical claims for payment according to Staff Medical Policy.
  • Monitors staff medical limit against usage
  • Liaise with hospitals to resolve any medical issue.
  • Carries out monthly reconciliation to solve any issues and imbalances.
  • Prepares monthly staff medical report to the Head, Human Resources.

General HR Administration
