Summary

I am a goal-oriented ELA Facilitator dedicated to strengthening administrative support to streamline cross curricula instruction to enhance student growth. I have a background as an inventive Pre K-8th grade Teacher with over five years of experience teaching children within the elementary school environment. I have more than five years of experience working with adults and teachers to implement the district's adoptive curricula. I have worked for the last three years as the ELA Facilitator for Bering Strait School District. In my current role, I have organized training supportive of a Response to Intervention (RTI) approach that uses standard-based assessment and data to implement related strategies to the ELA curriculum. I have collaborated with staff on utilizing a comprehensive web database to track student progress.

  • Devised and deployed systems for tracking student data with the current curriculum to monitor growth, patterns, and drive instruction.
