I volunteered at C.A.R.E Animal Shelter for a couple of summers from 2015-2017. I volunteered at the location in Ozark, MO. My responsibilities included walking the dogs, feeding them proper amounts for their weight and breed. Providing assistance with other team members, cleaning kennels, supplying fresh water and bedding in kennel for all dogs at facility. As well as providing love and compassion to the dogs and cats whom had Feline AIDS and would not be allowed to accompany other cats at the facility. The cats with Feline AIDS were kept in a separate closed room and as volunteers we had to make sure cross contamination was prevented when transferring to the open facility with other cats. This was by far my favorite experience as I love working with animals.
