At BMS, I perform the setup and running of equipment to support the cell culture, harvest, and cryopreservation processes used in the production of autologous cell therapy lots.

• I record production data and information in a clear, concise format according to proper GDPs.
• I maintain compliance with all company and site policies and procedures while handling controlled substances in accordance with all state and federal rules and guidelines, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and DEA.
• Verified that all necessary supplies were stocked for uninterrupted production flow.

I perform these general duties under both the Abecma and Breyanzi subdivisions, each with their own unique challenges and opportunities:

• Under Abecma, I have participated primarily in the Expansion team and took part in the 80ppw ramp and am qualified in Cell Expansion, Logbook Review, and Electronic Batch Record Processes.
• I volunteered to work with the Breyanzi team in order to educate myself on a broader range of Cell Therapy manufacturing processes and prepare them for departmental growth. As a member of this team, I have participated in Transduction, Activation, Debead and Zuri.

In this position, I learned precision in data management, time management and prioritization, and how to troubleshoot within SOP's.

During the first wave of Covid, I worked as a Specimen Accessioner.

• I learned to work in a very high intensity environment because of the volume of patients coming to the lab for Covid Testing.
• I also learned the basics of Lab procedures, pipetting, aliquotting, and sample management.

In this position, I learned professionalism, precision with customer data, and solving high-stakes problems in cooperation with management.
