  • Inspecting, maintaining and repairing survival equipment, flight gear and protective clothing (anti-gravity suits etc.); using, adjusting, maintaining and repairing sewing machines; repairing, packing and rigging parachutes; inspecting and testing oxygen regulators, liquid oxygen converters and safety equipment; repairing, packing and rigging parachutes; equipping and packing life rafts; manufacturing various types of fabric work and webbing assemblies used in survival equipment at an organizational level.
  • As supervisor, has outstanding technical knowledge and leadership skills encouraged on peers to perform at the absolute peak of their abilities. Have incorporated 30 Technical Directives on 40 sets of Aviation Life Support equipment with zero re-work, which greatly contributed to the work center's 99 percent Ready-For-Issue rate.
  • As a Plane Captain Collateral Duty Inspector, was responsible for the daily launch, recovery, inspection, fueling, and servicing of 11 F/A-18E aircraft enabling the squadron to achieve a 97% sortie completion rate across 941 missions in support of maintenance phase and deployment operations onboard USS GERALD R. FORD (CVN 78).
  • Personally responsible for the training and qualification of eight Plane Captains, nine Duct Diver, six Brake Riders, five Move Directors and eight Flight Deck Familiarizations. My efforts helped increase the work center readiness by 18 percent.
