Mountain Biking, Trail running

I have biked through much of Colorado and Utah. I have previously participated in various mountain bike races. I am a certified bike mechanic and have served as a mechanic for various local racers in both Utah and Colorado.

Most of my time trail running has been in the Boulder County area.

Cycling

I have been cycling throughout Colorado and Utah. I have worked as a bike mechanic for many years. I previously managed a small shop in SLC, UT that sold previously owned gear, Active Sports Recycling. During my tenure, I  received training at the OTC in Colorado Springs earning a race mechanics license,  I was the shop manager and lead mechanic. After moving to Colorado in 1998, I worked for the Denver Spoke for Dong Ngo. as a mechanic and salesman for a year before being promoted to manage Bike Works. Since the time I spent much of my free time repairing bike for neighbors and volunteering time helping with maintenance and building of bikes for various organizations.

Additional Information

I have worked both as a mechanic in the shop and directly with customers. I am well versed in fitting people on bikes. My strength is working with customers to make sure they have the bike and fit that match their abilities. The key to customer service is to have the customer return and refer the shop to friends and family.
