- Under the supervision of a nurse, I provide care for each of my patients' needs. The care consists of:

• Providing patient safety
• Communicating with the preceptor and the patient
• Observing and supporting the patient
• Assisting with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and hygiene tasks
• Prepare, explain, and administer medications as ordered
• Receiving and reviewing vitals and labs
• Documenting in a timely manner
• Educating patient on improving health
• Recognizing time to patient ratio, to ensure each patient receives quality care

- While being a patient care technician, I would provide care to each of my patients' needs. My job consisted of:

• Providing patient safety
• Providing a clean and comfortable environment
• Communicating with the nurse and patient
• Maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs and weight and recording intake and output information
• Reporting abnormal vital signs or concerns
• Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, changing linens, and ambulation
• Transporting patients
• Stocking and organizing supplies
• Documenting within a timely manner
• Recognizing time to patient ratio, to ensure each patient received adequate care

- I babysat for a couple of separate families on regular basis, while I was also babysitting for other families occasionally. I babysat children ranging in age from 12 weeks through age 10 years. My goal while babysitting was to perform any responsibilities to ensure the children's needs were met. When babysitting I:

• Ensured a safe, clean, and fun environment
• Prepared food and bottles and fed the children as needed on a set schedule
• Transported children to and from functions
• Assisted with daily activities and daily hygiene
• Tended in age related activities to keep the children entertained
• Provided support to the children
• Communicated and built positive relationships with the parents

- I worked as a childcare assistant the summer of 2018 and the school year of 2019 - 2020. I worked with children aging from 3 months through 5 years. While working as a childcare assistant I:

• Ensured a safe, loving, and positive environment
• Prepared age related bottles/snacks/meals
• Assisted with daily activities and hygiene
• Engaged in play time activities with the children
• Communicated with the teacher about the children's needs
• Communicated and built positive relationships with the parents
• Monitored children's activities to verify safety and wellbeing
• Maintained inventory of educational supplies and materials and notified the director of restocking needs

- I was able to work in the one year old room, as a teacher, the summer of 2019. While teaching, my role consisted of:

• Ensuring a safe, clean, and loving environment
• Communicating and updating the director of the daycare, the teacher assistant, and the parents, about the children
• Developing age appropriate activities
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children
• Disciplining the children when needed
• Establishing positive relationships with children and families
• Giving one-on-one support with the children when needed
